A month of drama!

A month of drama!

A Year in Cornwall, front A Year in Cornwall, back

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a summer like this in Cornwall – wall to wall sunshine for weeks, to the extent that it actually started to feel like the norm.  It’s been a month of warm waves that don’t require a wetsuit, of festivals without wellies and cafes running out of ice cream, of all the wonderful moments of summer for once strung together into a perfect storyline of how summers used to be. And as temperatures rose to seemingly giddy heights, how appropriate that July now draws to a dramatic close with sudden downpours and gusty winds, not to mention the twist on which the fourth series of Poldark ended last night (no spoilers for overseas viewers!).

We’ve been keeping the momentum going at Evocative Cornwall too. Much work has gone on behind the scenes to get our new look website launched – hope you like it – to get new Christmas cards ready for sale and to bring a new product to market.  ‘A Year in Cornwall’ is a gift pack of cards, 12 in all, representing the seasons of the year.  Designed not to require glue or a plastic wrapper, we hope the new pack will provide an excellent gift choice year-round – although whether for a loved one or yourself we’ll leave up to you!
