Wonderful local photographer, Geoff Squibb has captured an exhilarating moment on Porthleven's pier. It is still a thrill for us to work with some of the most talented photographers that live and work in Cornwall, and we are particularly delighted to collaborate here with Geoff.

Built from massive granite blocks, the pier and indeed the whole harbour is a testament to Victorian building. Although lashed by Atlantic storms in the winter, the Porthleven seen here is a gentler scene. Bystanders enjoy the beauty of the waves crashing into the pier, backlit by the sunset. Fortunately for us, Geoff caught the moment perfectly, as the wave hangs for a moment illuminated like orange fire.
